NS for Ladies
Posted on August 10th, 2010 at 21:51 in Thoughts. No Comments »

The other night, during one of my short night conversations with Isa on the phone……

Me: The government should have NS for ladies eh!
Isa: They have what..
Me: No, not the kind where they follow the same training regime as the guys. I mean instead of that, we do almost the same thing. Enlistment, book in, book out, POP, ORD, etc… But instead of training to protect the country, we have trainings on how to become a good housewife! For example: Cleaning lah, cooking lah, doing laundry lah…. For 2 years like u guys so we’ll be expert and it’ll become part of our daily life. But of course, must be strict like how guys’ trainings are lah. But at the same time, can also have slumber party, pool party, etc… Haha…
Isa: Like that, enroll in maid agency lah!
Me: L.O.L while giving a -_________-” face.

This light joke is to remind myself that he’s finally booking out on Thursday after 2 weeks of confinement! :) ))

I feel so arghhhh after realising what I have over the next 2 weekends.

14 August 2010, Saturday
- Whole day course from 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Buka with family at Aunty Kin’s house

15 August 2010, Sunday
- Dear books into camp

20 August 2010, Friday
- Isa book out

21 August 2010, Saturday
- Whole day course from 8.30am – 5.30pm
- Buka with family at Mak Long’s house

22August 2010, Sunday
- Dear books into camp

How to spent time with Isa like that?!?!?! :( (( Not that I’m unhappy to break my fast with the family. Actually, I look forward to it each time because I love spending time with all of them! But then I have a whole day course on both weekends, meaning I won’t get to see Isa for that whole Saturday if I were to buka with my family.

I wish I could split myself into 2 and spend time with both companies  cause Isa definitely won’t want to join with buka-ing with my whole family. :(

I’m at a juncture where I should decide whether to continue studying now or to hold it off till whenever. My mind’s saying no but my heart’s saying otherwise. The reason why I decide to go with my mind at this moment is mainly due to the fact that I do not want to sit down and mug when it’s time to be tested. That’s my absolute concern (if you’d call it) at this moment. I don’t want to be tied down in *that* sense.

Ok, even if I were to decide to go ahead with my heart, I’d still be clueless in deciding which direction I’ll be heading. I do not want to go choose a course with half-half interest just for the sake of obtaining a cert like I did with my diploma.

And also, the fees. I’m still slowly repaying my dad back every month for my diploma. Oh.The.Joys.

I must credit my boyfriend for always taking good shots of me!
This picture below was taken during our sweet outing last Sunday. :)

Below are cute kitties I (& also Isa) took at Isa’s sister’s house on several occasions!
They’re all sooo cute!

Next update will be about Isa’s enlistment at Tekong yesterday….

Our day!

Last Thursday, I had my SGH appointment and in any case if you’ve been an avid reader of my blog, you would have known it’s for the fibroadenoma (lumps) in my breast. Well anyhooo, I’m cleared; condition’s stable so there’s no need to worry and I could probably get clearance for insurance – hopefully.

So after that, in short, Isa & I fought over who has authority over Hannah Baby (I’ll name it if I want to, btw) at Botanic Gardens, though it’s rightfully mine. He called me stingy for not allowing him to take shots!

So anyways.. Pictures – with captions!!
